Piktiv AB ('we', 'us', or 'our') respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, process, and protect your personal data when you use our website, interact with us, or use our services. By using our website or services, you acknowledge and agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. 

We process your personal data in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 ("GDPR") and other applicable data protection laws.

1. Controller

Piktiv AB is the data controller for the use of your personal data and is responsible for ensuring that the use takes place in accordance with applicable legislation.

Personal data is in most cases collected directly from you or generated as part of the use of our services, products, and channels. Sometimes additional information is required to keep information up to date or to verify the information that we collect.

The categories of personal data that we may collect, and use are listed below. Please note that the list of examples is not exhaustive. The type of personal data that we collect from you will depend on the service or product we are providing to you as a customer.

a. Identification information:name, email address, postal address, phone number, and other similar contact data.

b. Technical Data: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, and other information collected automatically when you visit our website.

This means that we save your information for as long as it is necessary of the performance of a contract and as long as it is required by applicable minimum requirements for storage periods in laws and other regulations.

a. Right of access: You have a right to access the your personal data we are keeping about you.

b. Right to rectification: If the data we are keeping about you is incorrect or incomplete, you are entitled to have the data corrected with the restrictions that follow from legislation.

c. Right to request erasure: You have the right to request that we delete your personal data under certain circumstances, such as when the data is no longer necessary for the purpose it was collected.

d. Right to limitation of processing: If you contest the correctness of the data which we have registered about you or lawfulness of processing, or if you have objected to the processing of the data in accordance with your right to object, you may request us to restrict the processing of these data.

e. Right to data portability: You have a right to receive personal data that you have provided us in a machine-readable format. This right applies to personal data processed only by automated means and on the lawful basis, consent or of fulfilling a contract.

f. Right to object to processing based on our legitimate interest: You can always object to the processing of your personal data for direct marketing and profiling in connection to such marketing.

g. Right to withdraw consent: When the lawful basis for a specific processing activity is your consent, you have a right to withdraw your consent at any given time.

7. Third-Party Disclose

a. Supplies: we have entered into agreements with selected suppliers, which include processing of perosnal data on behalf of us.

b. Professional advisors: such as lawyers, accountants, and auditors, who are subject to confidentiality obligations.

c. Authorities: we disclose personal data to authorities to the extent we are under statutory obligation to do so.

d. Third parties: in connection with a corporate transaction, such as a merger, acquisition, or asset sale.

e. Teamtailor: when you apply for a job or participate in our recruitment process (please refer to Section 11 for more information)

8. Third country transfers
In some cases, we may also transfer personal data to organisations in so-called third countries (countries outside of the European Economic Area). Such transfers can be made if any of the following conditions apply:

  • the EU Commission has decided that there is an adequate level of protection in the country in question, or
  • other appropriate safeguards have been taken, for example the use of the standard contractual clauses (EU model-clauses) approved by the EU Commission or the data processor has valid Binding Corporate Rules (BCR) in place, or
  • that there are exceptions in special situations, such as to fulfil a contract with you or your consent to the specific transfer.

In such cases, we will take appropriate measures to ensure that your personal data is adequately protected in accordance with the GDPR, such as implementing Standard Contractual Clauses or relying on adequacy decisions issued by the European Commission.

We use appropriate technical, organizational andadministrative security measures to protect any information we hold from loss, misuse, and unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. We are constantly improving and developing our services, products and websites, so we may change this Privacy Policy from time to time. If the changes are significant we will provide you with a notice or post a notice on our website when we are required to do so by applicable law.

12. Recruitment Process and Teamtailor
When you apply for a job or participate in our recruitment process, your personal data is processed by Teamtailor on our behalf. Teamtailor is a data processor, and we have entered into a data processing agreement with Teamtailor to ensure that your personal data is processed in accordance with the GDPR and other applicable data protection laws. Teamtailor is responsible for the technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal data during the recruitment process.

By submitting your application or participating in our recruitment process, you consent to the processing of your personal data by Teamtailor and acknowledge that your personal data may be transferred outside the EEA, subject to appropriate safeguards in accordance with the GDPR.

We use cookies and similar technologies on our website to enhance your user experience, analyse website usage, and deliver targeted advertisements. The following categories of cookies may be used by us:
