Systems Developer, Azure/.NET

One of our clients, a GreenTech startup, is working on a disruptive new service in the clothing retail industry. The service is already in a beta stage with a number of customers using it. Piktiv has been given the task of further developing the service, and we have a lot of freedom in how we shape its future!

Who you are
You are an accomplished Azure/.NET developer with a couple of years of experience building backend solutions for online systems. You’ve grown confident in your ability to develop and maintain a reliable backend service and you are excited by the idea of transitioning to Full Stack development. You prefer to work in tight and small teams and relish any opportunity to learn from coworkers as well as sharing your expertise with the team.

What you’ll do
As a Systems Developer with Azure/.NET specialisation you will be a part of a small team with a lot of freedom in how the product is built and shaped. You’ll have ample opportunity to influence the way the service is developed together with our client. Your main focus will be to refactor, extend and maintain the backend services of the product we’re developing. Secondary responsibilities include getting to know the frontend, as the team is Full Stack oriented, but the degree of involvement can be shaped based on your career preferences and goals.

The project is being developed in the latest version of .NET together with Azure services, with the frontend using React with TypeScript.

Essential:

• +2 years professional experience as a Azure/.NET developer
• Excellent skills in C#, Azure and Databases
• Willingness to learn new technologies
• Can work closely with the client in order to understand their problems and help them solve it
• Work well with the other team members to deliver great software

Bonus:

• Experience with commercial payment services

This position is full time, 40 hours per week at our office in Skövde. The position is not available for remote work.
