Game Developer – Unreal Engine

Piktiv likes to solve hard problems and that’s why we like Unreal Engine. Its open source lets us delve deep into the engine to solve complex problems for our clients, adding features and tools we all would otherwise have had to do without. We’re looking to strengthen our Unreal developer team with someone who is eager to both learn new things about the engine and teach ourselves a trick or two about it. You have been coding games using Unreal Engine for a couple of years, where you’ve learned the architecture of the engine and possibly specialised in one or more areas of it. You care deeply about the quality of your code and you take great pride in delivering complete solutions.

You'll be a part of a small team with committed and talented colleagues, working in a well-defined process where we continually help each other to become better software engineers, both individually and as a team. Our teams are self-organised and you'll have ample opportunity to contribute to how we organise our projects and processes.

Essential:

• 2+ years experience as a game developer
• Experience in Unreal Engine
• Good knowledge of C++
• Can work closely with the client in order to understand their problems and help them solve it
• Work well with the rest of the team in order to deliver great software together
• Good communication skills in English

Bonus:

• Experience developing mobile games
• Experience developing console games
